The Pacific Northwest International Trade Alliance, formerly known as the Kitsap International Trade Development Committee, was formed in February 2001 by the Port of Bremerton.
Mission Statement: Growing business through education and information resources that facilitate international trade.
The focus of the Alliance is to provide information and educational resources to small local companies looking to enter into international trade or expanding their international trade business.
The Alliance normally meets monthly. For information on the next meeting, click "Meetings" on the left side bar. Your attendance, if you are interested in the alliance, is encouraged.
The Committee was formed to accomplish the following:
- Referral to available resources
- Referral to Capital formation and financing
- Referral to Import/Export transaction financing.
- Committee (workshop) assistance reviewing, developing plans for international trade.
- Assistance locating and developing facilities.
- Activation of the Port of Bremerton "Free Trade Zone".
- Sponsor business events for educational purposes and to facilitate "networking" with resource providers.
